What are the Mastering Options?

In addition to the ‘Genre Reference’ settings and the Amount control, you can further modify the sound quality using the ‘Mastering Options’. The combination of both the selected Genre Reference and the applied Mastering Options will form the final sound characteristics for your master. All changes you make within the app are instant, no need to edit or wait for them to take effect.

NEW feature (current version 1.0.4.): We have applied all the current Web mastering genre processing options to the desktop app as well. You can find them under the "Reference button" > "Original CloudBounce subfolder". Enjoy the great sound you know and love from the Website www.cloudbounce.com. No need to queue and wait for the masters to edit and process anymore. Tweak until your heart's content and export your Professional level masters with the correct loudness level to suit any needs together with the lightning fast processing.

Infinity Annual & subscription cycle

Accepted Answer

Infinity Annual means an unlimited mastering subscription plan, that renews automatically every 12 months (unless canceled prior to renewal). If you already have an Annual subscription and for example would like to utilise a campaign deal at a lower price-point, the billing cycle will be started immediately after such a purchase. Also, in this case please make sure that the prior subscription is canceled before committing to a new deal, this won't happen automatically.

Refund Policy

The user of the service has the right to use the mastering service from CloudBounce, according to the chosen service plan, either Pay-As-You-Go (Web mastering only) or a Subscription.

In addition, the user has the right to cancel the monthly or annual subscription when he or she chooses to. The billing cycle will be disrupted upon cancellation of the service during the target month.

A cancelled plan will run fully functional until the end of the billing period.

All payments to CloudBounce are non-refundable, and no refunds or credits will be made for incomplete use of a service pricing plan or a monthly or annual subscription.

All users have full responsibility on managing their personal subscriptions. If a user would like to un-subscribe and prevent the subscription from renewing automatically, it should be done before the next renewal date. If a user does not un-subscribe within this time period, the plan will automatically be renewed. CloudBounce cannot take responsibility and issue a refund when a user has not un-subscribed within the given time period prior to renewal.

Incomplete use of the service (e.g. "I have not used CloudBounce for 2 months" OR "I have not authorized the plan renewal") will not be considered as a reason for a refund.

What can be done with the Loudness knob?

The Loudness control dial will determine the final output LUFS (Loudness Unit Full Scale) level of your mastered file(s).

In addition, the Loudness control will have a direct effect on how much limiting is applied to the track. If you want your track to be louder, turn the Loudness control clockwise. The more you turn it, the harder the limiter will be applied to your track and vice versa.

Pro tip: General loudness should be adjusted according to your own preferences. The LUFS loudness value can be increased or decreased in -0.5 LUFS steps to help you to set the correct required level.

How to start mastering audio with the CloudBounce App?

Accepted Answer

Start by opening the Desktop App and logging into your CloudBounce account. Drag and drop the premaster file(s) from your personal computer or use the ‘Browse’ button to initiate a file import. After importing, the file(s) will be analysed, authorized and evaluated for mastering.

Note: CloudBounce Genre Reference setting is automatically selected and applied to your track, hence allowing you to preview between original and mastered versions. To further tweak the sound, simply select your preferred Genre Reference setting and use the Mastering Options to suit your track and artistic intent.
