I am not able to download my track?
Please make sure you have an unique name for your track, and that you have not mastered the same file previously. You can easily rename your tracks from the Edit Track page.
Mastering process takes too long?
If processing takes much longer than anticipated, please make sure i) that your file is a .wav, .aiff or .mp3 file; ii) that the file contains audio; iii) file is less than 60 minutes long; iv) that your internet connection is working properly.
File transfer or mastering process freezes or discards automatically
This is usually due to user having an adblocker app installed on the browser. These apps should be always turned off during mastering. Other potential causes could be; i) slow or breaking internet connection ii) firewall settings iii) browser incompatibility (especially with IE / Edge but sometimes Safari and Opera).
Can I upload multiple tracks or an album (in a batch) at once?
No, this is not possible with the current web mastering engine but will be added in the near future. You can, however, upload multiple tracks and master albums using our Desktop App version which comes with one of our annual plans. For more, see https://app.cloudbounce.com/. How do I download a mastered track?
Once you master a track with CloudBounce, you will receive an email notification when the final master has been processed. Once completed, all mastered tracks will be found in ‘My Tracks’ section on your account. To download, just click the icon with a downward arrow to the left of each track to show the links for all 3 mastered audio file formats. Available are: 16-bit 44.1khz WAV, 24-bit 44.1khz WAV, and 320kbps MP3 for each mastered track. Please note: If you plan to distribute your mus
The audio crackles partly or throughout the track?
In rare cases, some audio crackling might occur in the mastered audio file. Some bit depth and sample rate combinations can produce this issue, so we wholly recommend that you always upload 44.1kHz / 24-bit stereo audio files in lossless format (e.g. .WAV or .AIFF) for mastering.
How many mastering options can be used?
There's no limit to how many editing rounds you can do. For one processing round, you can select one genre setting + any combination of mastering options. You can repeat this process as many times as you want to get the sound you like. Please note: by selecting genre and mastering options and listening to the mastering preview, you accept the mastering results for any final master you create with Pay-As-You-Go option. All my tracks have disappeared from my account?
In 2018 we made some changes to the unlimited cloud backup and pricing. Currently, we only provide the cloud backup for subscription customers. Non-subscription customers have 7 days to download the tracks to your personal storage (e.g. computer, DropBox) after mastering. Can’t hear audio on the mastering preview player, or sound distorts?
If the mastering preview player is loaded up correctly, it will produce sound at 192kbps MP3 quality. If you can’t hear the audio, please check your computer’s audio settings, or equivalent input / output settings on your audio device or soundcard. There have been some cases where slight distortion has been audible with the mastering preview on some devices. However, please note that this MP3 preview file is sample only and any audio artifacts on preview do not appear on the final 24-bit WAV
Mastered file not appearing to My Tracks -listing
This indicates that the processing has not been finalised successfully. You should receive an email notification for every completed master. If this happens, please try to upload the track and initiate the mastering process again.
